When it comes to food, The Buvette doesn't disappoint. Their selection of artisan Sandos is notably impressive. The Meat Sando and Deli Sando stand out as hearty choices, priced around CA$16.00 to CA$16.50, perfect for a satisfying lunch. Each sandwich is a testament to high-quality ingredients, masterfully combined to create delightful flavor profiles. I particularly adored the Veggie Sando, which was a vibrant mix of fresh veggies and house-made spreads, a true homage to healthy eating.
But the star of the show? The Chick Sando at CA$17.00. This masterpiece strikes the perfect balance between tender chicken and a symphony of spices. Every bite is an exploration, leaving you eager for more.
All in all, The Buvette shines not just for its menu, but for the experience it offers. It’s a space where good food and great coffee come together, making it an essential stop for locals and travelers in Squamish. Whether you’re looking for a quick coffee break or a leisurely lunch, The Buvette promises to impress.
One of the best sandwiches you’ll ever eat. The Meat Sando is our absolute favourite and for such a big sandwich it’s surprisingly not too messy to eat. The space is so beautifully designed and we love the orange theme. It can be a little windy outside which is normal for Squamish but just be prepared otherwise you’ll be running down the block chasing your lost tissue paper like us. Would totally recommend this place!
Came here for lunch after a hike nearby and the vegetarian sandwhich really hit the spot! All the ingredients married together perfectly. The combination of flavours and large portions left me completely satiated. Which is impressive considering it was vegetarian. 10/10 will eat again. There's a large outdoor patio area for seating as well as sufficient indoor space. There was no line up even though it was just before lunch time on a sunny weekend.
Nothing hits better than a sandwich post hike and these guys are absolutely no exception. So delicious all around — you really get the bang for your buck considering how much they stuff into these sandwiches. The service is great and location is super cute. They have a great drink selection as well. Looking forward to coming back and trying other options!
Their sandwiches are HUGE! Definitely enough to share or to have for 2 meals. My favourite is the meat one. Also love their wine variety, they have my favourite natural wine.
Came for coffee and sandwiches to eat while on the ferry to the island. You should definitely get the sandwiches when you're there. They were huge and delicious. The meal was both better and bigger than the other larger sit-in restaurants in the area and cheaper. Wish there was a sandwich place like this in our area
Stopped in after friends recommended this place, and it didn’t disappoint. Plenty of parking, cozy and clean inside, and the staff were super friendly. Sandwiches run $17–20, but they’re huge, fresh, and honestly some of the best I’ve had in Vancouver. The only catch? They’re messygrab extra napkins! I’d definitely come back, and next time I’m trying the vegetarian one I spotted at the next table.
Good vibes , cute signage/branding , good looking sandwiches , decent on the taste. We’ve been wanting to try The Buvette since it opened and finally got our chance! Overall I’d say the sandwiches were a tad underwhelming but they were still good. The flavours were a bit lacking but visually it looked delicious. I think there’s a bit too much spinach and lettuce in both sandwiches with little sauce or spread so all you kind of get is a mouthful of the plain greens. That being said the sandwich tasted fresh. Everything was layered beautifully to the eye. Out of the two sandwiches we tried (Meat Sando and Deli Sando) I couldn’t say which one was better. If the two had components of each other and blended a little it might have created a better overall balance of flavours. The Meat Sando had a good little kick to it and the Deli had good tang with the pickled peppers. The service was not bad but not great. Friendly staff but it was very busy and it took very long for the sandwiches to come out. With it being a deli sandwich I think most people expect it to be quick. I think it took about 20 minutes. All in all, the experience was a 4/5 Ideas definitely there, vibe is right.. just needs a bit more in flavour and service a bit quicker for a sandwich spot. 4/5
